The turning point in the OMAS production was in 1932, when the pen that remained for decades one of the brand flagship models, the Extra, was introduced. It was a lever filler made using a multifaceted celluloid, decorated with a wide band on the cap, engraved with a greek shaped pattern. The pen was produced in four different sizes and launched with the slogan creazione di artista e di scienziato[1] that was accompanied by an extensive advertising campaign.
