Nel [[1968]] con la morte di Umberto Legnani, subentrò nella conduzione dell'azienda sua moglie Giuseppina Carnelli. L'azienda mantenne la sua connotazione di gestione familiare e vi lavorarono figli e nipoti di Umberto Legnani.
