FountainPen.it is an open and collaborative project, so anyone can become a contributor, the only condition is to ask for an account using the contact infos shown at the bottom of each page. We cannot leave the access open for anyone because this was already abused from some spammers.
The site is written using the Mediawiki software, the same used for Wikipedia so starting to write contents is quite easy, and you can use all the documentation and tutorials on wiki formatting provided by them.
But also without knowing wiki syntax you can just start by uploading file (fountain pens photos, old ADs, instruction sheets will be extremely welcomed). Another much needed contribution is translation of pages, the main author is italian and only few pages are translated in english.
There a few conventions used in the wiki to keep thing coherent and manageable, and for any help you can ask using the contact infos mentioned before.
