Around the mid '20s [[Nettuno]], like all other Italian brands, began a production of [[Duofold]] imitations, which at the time was the stylistic reference for all Italian manufacturers. In this case the [[button filler]] was also adopted, and these [[Nettuno Flattop|models]], apart from the incision of the ''Nettuno'' name on the clip, are substantially identical to the [[Parker]] original model, both for the ball clip, than for the shape of the body, cap and bottom. In the 30s, continuing to follow [[Duofold]] evolution,  were produced new models in ''[[streamlined]]'' version, and was also introduced a new clip with a  spatula shaped termination.

All'incirca nel 1936 venne introdotta la nuova linea [[Nettuno Superba]], dotata di linee più affusolate e molteplici verette decorative poste sia sul cappuccio che sul corpo della penna. La prima versione, caratterizzata anche da una ampia banda metallica sul cappuccio decorata con un motivo a scacchiera, era realizzata con caricamento a [[pulsante di fondo]], ma la penna restò in produzione, sia pure con una serie di modifiche e rifacimenti, fino agli anni '50.
