Nel [[1937]]<ref>la data non è sicura, David Nishimura in [https://www.vintagepens.com/Waterman_glass_cartridge_pens.shtml questo articolo] indica il [[1936]], ma non cita nessuna fonte, mentre le pubblicità più antiche note sono del [[1937], ed in particolare in [[:File:1937-12-Waterman-InkVue.jpg|questa]] compare fra le novità una [[Waterman 32]] a cartuccia che non viene mostrata in nessuna delle diverse pubblicità reperite sull'Illustration nei mesi precedenti.</ref> l'azienda mette in commercio, per conto della [[Waterman]] una variante della [[Waterman 32]] con caricamento a cartuccia, dando inizio ad uno sviluppo tecnologico che porterà diversi anni più tardi alla creazione della [[Waterman CF]].
