Un altro modello celebre di grande successo realizzato in resina plastica è la [[Skyline]] della [[Eversharp]], ma in questo caso la penna venne realizzata in [[polistirene]]. A partire dagli anni '50 la gran parte dei produttori iniziò ad abbandonare la [[celluloide]], che fino ad allora era il materiale dominante, per passare all'uso di diverse resine plastiche.
