Una delle caratteristiche di pregio di questi modelli di inizio secolo è la presenza di modelli [[overlay|rivestiti]] di grande qualità. Questi modelli inoltre si distinguono per l'essere sempre dotati di cappuccio a vite, spesso realizzato in maniera originale. Nei primi modelli infatti la filettatura era posta alla fine della sezione, ed all'interno del controcappuccio, mentre in seguito il cappuccio venne realizzato senza controcappuccio ed il blocco dell'avvitamento avveniva direttamente tramite la filettatura stessa; queste penne si possono riconoscere facilmente per la presenza di una sezione lunga e diritta.
