This pen can be considered an ancestor and forerunner of the [[Capless]], produced by [[Pilot]] 30 years later. Nel [[1934]] venne prodotta, due anni dopo la [[Pullman]] della [[Météore]], la [[Asterope]] un'altra fra le penne che possono essere considerate come antenate e precursori della [[Capless]] della [[Pilot]]. La penna infatti non era dotata di cappuccio, ma di una guaina esterna dentro la quale scorreva, tramite un cursore laterale, il corpo della penna. La guaina era chiusa da un coperchio che veniva aperto quando si faceva fuoriuscire il pennino. La penna ebbe un certo successo, anche per la sua caratteristica di essere utilizzabile con una mano sola.
