There is very little information about this brand, and most of the available ones goes back to the wording Marca "Italpen" Depos. - Non Frangar - Milano on the inprint of some celluloid models (where Non Frangar is latin used to indicate its unbreakability). But there is no trace of the trademark in the database of the Archivio Centrale dello Stato. The trademark is present on different types of pens, from safeties with laminated overlay to some plastic pens that are clearly a post-war production. On the basis of the samples found, it can be assumed that it was active at least since the 1930s, perhaps even before (but the presence of safeties is not conclusive in this regard, since these remained on the Italian market until after the war).
