Company in Argentina, founded by brothers Georg and Lazlo Biro. Lazlo Biro, a Hungarian journalist, had patented in 1938 a ballpoint pen, but without giving following a production. Fled to Argentina in 1940 to escape the Nazis joined with his brother and in 1943 gave birth to Eterpen the first company to manufacture and market in an industrial ballpoint pens.
